Dear T:

The situation that you are in has become one which we are encountering with greater frequency of late. I currently have several other situations that I am investigating with very similar circumstances.

What recommendations the Marble Institute of America makes in this case will serve as a precedent in future cases, and therefore we are being very careful to involve our entire Board of Directors in the resolution of this issue and the formalization of an association stance on the subject.

While we communicate via other means on a near daily basis, the MIA BOD meets three times annually, and the next time is on March 6th and 7th, , 2008. We have established this as a formal agenda item for that meeting.

I fully understand that you are biased for action on your personal situation and waiting another three weeks for resolution is probably not what you wanted to hear. However, by approaching the issue in this careful and thorough manner we will be able to achieve a much better opinion which will be fully consensus amongst staff and directors of the association.

Your patience is appreciated.

Regards,

Chuck
